Hi, I’m Nichole.
One of the most vivid moments in my life happened on a remote mountaintop far above sea level, a place my spouse and I had dreamed of visiting. The road was narrow, winding, and lined with sheer cliffs, and she drove as I let go of control and faced my fear of heights. When we arrived, the view took my breath away. In that moment I was reminded of something I often share with the people I work with: bravery usually comes after we do the scary thing. The same is often true in relationships, where trust grows as we learn to move forward without complete certainty.
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State and a coach globally. For more than two decades I’ve worked as a therapist, and my background includes extensive experience with OCD, relationship OCD, and anxiety. I’ve also received advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention through my work with NOCD. While therapy and coaching are distinct services, my experience as a therapist informs the perspective I bring to my coaching work.
At the end of the day, I’m also simply human. I understand how the patterns we rely on to feel safe can sometimes pull us away from the love and connection we want most. If you’ve ever felt caught in a loop of doubt, overthinking, or searching for certainty about your relationship, you’re not alone. In our conversations, we explore these patterns and work toward relationships that feel more open, grounded, and connected. I walk beside you, but you lead your own path.
Outside of my work, I love trail running, skiing, and adventuring in the Pacific Northwest mountains with my spouse, friends, and our adult children. These experiences remind me that the most meaningful views in life often come after the hardest climbs.
